Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American singer-actress. She is most famous for portraying Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012), and Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). She also took on her role as Jerrica Jem in the movie Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. Her older sister is Ally. Aubrey was a part of the Orlando Repertory Theatre during her growing up. She was the valedictory speech of her school during her time at Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University admitted her, but she had to agree for her admission two times in order for her role at Nashville. Peeples appeared in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and played the role of a regular in Necessary Roughness (1991). Peeples was a part of the made-for television films Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. She played Layla Grant, a major part of The Good Mother, a Nashville second season drama. In 2019, Peeples talked about having bipolar disorder in an interview with NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples one of the most popular performers under twenty years old older in September 2014.
